The Zinzendorf Schools in Königsfeld are among Europe’s largest, state-recognised private schools with boarding facilities. Funded by the Moravian Church, which is part of the Protestant Church, for over 200 years the educational approach of our schools has been characterised by Christian values and openness.
Our schools welcome students of all faiths and nationalities. They have the opportunity to obtain any of the German general school leaving qualifications and various vocational school leaving qualifications. Ten different types of school, with unique flexibility to switch from one type to another, means we can offer every young person a path to educational achievement tailored to his or her current needs.
We are proud of our long tradition yet our approach to education is modern and dynamic, as it has always been.
Our schools are run on the educational principles inspired by the educationalists Amos Comenius and Nikolaus, Count von Zinzendorf.
What this means for us today:
- Developing potential.
- Enabling students to discover their individuality within the community, to explore new areas of interest and to develop personal motivation.
- Helping students to take responsibility for themselves and others and to actively shape their own lives.
We believe that everyone can succeed but not all students learn in the same way and sometimes different approaches are necessary. We will support your children every step of the way towards achieving their goals.
